Full Plate Living Connect Group

Tuesday, May 20 6:00-7:30pm

The Health Ministry Team will be hosting a Full Plate Living Connect Group each quarter starting Tuesday, May 20. This group is open to everyone and will support the adoption of Full Plate Living healthy eating habits and facilitate connections with those who are on the same journey.  We will provide a few learning points and serve a light meal.  We also welcome anyone to bring a favorite recipe and/or food sample of a favorite recipe to share if interested.  There is no fee or pre-registration needed.  Bring your family, friends, neighbors, and community members.  You can learn more at fullplateliving.org. If you have any questions, please contact us at kfsdahealth@gmail.com or (541) 882-2466.  We look forward to you joining us.

Surveyor bike ride

Right after church on Sabbath, July 26 we will head to the Surveyor Recreation Site, which is a campground/picnic area with an outhouse and no water. Bring food for your own picnic, and most of the time it is combined into an impromptu potluck. Sit and talk for the afternoon or bring your bike and ride downhill for 10 miles. We will park a vehicle or two at the bottom so you can be driven back up to your vehicle at the end. Call or text Ed or Rhonda Lyons with questions. (Right click the image to open it larger.)
